Out of the box – innovative tube forming
Variable wall thickness, no compromise
With our patent-pending cold-forming process speedFORMING we set new standards in series production. Compared with a tube of constant wall thickness, it offers more than a purely weight-optimised lightweight solution: different strength levels can be realised in specific sections. This allows cost-efficient welded tubes to be used and application-optimised components to be created – in series production since 2021.

Your benefits – climate-friendly & efficient
Tailor wall thickness, contour and strength – for cost-efficient, lightweight and resource-efficient tubular components.
Lower component costs
Welded tubes (EN 10305-2) replace cold-drawn tubes. A design tailored to the loads saves additional material.
Less weight & CO₂
More than 30% weight reduction possible: less transport weight and a reduced carbon footprint (PCF).
Variable tube contours
Tailor the inner and outer contours: CNC-controlled wall-thickness changes adapt the design to the requirements of each component.
Targeted higher strength
Work hardening increases strength where it is needed. An additional heat treatment can therefore be eliminated.
Your savings potential – calculated live
Estimate how much weight, CO₂ and cost speedFORMING can save in your component. Indicative values – we determine the exact figures together.

Simplified estimate (steel, ~2.0 kg CO₂e/kg). Actual values depend on material, manufacturing route, geometry and load case.
Applications
speedFORMING is suited to rotationally symmetric components – whether rotor shafts, steering shafts, drive shafts or seat shafts. It does not matter whether your application requires variable wall thickness only on the outer or inner diameter, or both.
